THE STUDENTS GAIN THE FOLLOWINGS AT RELIGIOUS STUDIES COURSES IN THE MIDDLE SCHOOL;
They give importance to love, respect, tolerance, national, and moral values.
They internalize the values they give importance to, and they learn about those values.
They realize that religion refers to “advice” and “nice attitude” in human development.
They give importance to using the mind and knowledge.
They act responsively towards the people, nature, and other living things.

RELIGIOUS STUDIES ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT IN THE MIDDLE SCHOOL

Question-answer, observation, research, analysis, and brainstorming methods are practiced in the classes.
The classes are covered based on mind and knowledge by using Turkish clearly and nicely without focusing on superstition and free from complex and complicated phrases.

MEASUREMENT-ASSESSMENT FOR THE MIDDLE SCHOOL RELIGIOUS STUDIES COURSES

2 written exams are given each semester and 1 performance task is assigned. The followings are considered in assessing the performance task:
Student’s behaviors in and out of the class (towards friends, teachers, administrators),
Preparing course materials,
Attending the class prepared,
Doing homework on time.
The work of the students who choose the project topics announced in the beginning of the school year are collected in the 2nd semester.
