THE STUDENTS GAIN THE FOLLOWINGS AT INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES COURSES IN THE MIDDLE SCHOOL;
Displaying the fundamental knowledge and skills to use the information and communication technologies correctly and safely.
Gaining awareness about the individual and social contributions of the information technologies in cultural and social respects and developing a positive attitude.
Acting responsively about information ethics, privacy, and security.
Communicating effectively by means of information technology tools and realizing ideas and projects by using them.
Arranging their knowledge and ideas in a way to be understood by different target audiences and sharing them via media.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT IN THE MIDDLE SCHOOL
The Information Technologies classes are taught in a laboratory equipped with 25 internet-connected computers.
The Information Technologies and Software curriculum includes the following subjects:
Office programs,
Programming,
3-D Design,
Mobile Application Development,
Programming Electronic Circuit,
Arduino and robot training.
The club activities carried out during the social activity hours are intended
To make the students love science and technology,
To teach teamwork,
To develop the students’ mathematical and analytical thinking, creativity, scientific thinking, and problem-solving skills.
At the Technology and Engineering Fair organized in the school every year, following workshop activities are organized:
Coding and Game Design,
3D Design,
Robotic, Maker,
Sculpture Design with Technologic Wastes.
The students’ works are exhibited in the fair.
MEASUREMENT-ASSESSMENT FOR THE MIDDLE SCHOOL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES COURSE
The works produced by the students throughout the year are saved in the school’s servers and a portfolio is created for each student.
The students are assessed according to their classroom practices and the product they created.
2 applied exams are given in each semester. The students complete the assigned tasks by following the instructions. The students’ folders are collected at the end of the applied exam, and they are assessed based on a detailed rubric created by the teachers.
The class performance grades are given by considering the students’ active participation in the class, completing all the applications, and the classroom behaviors.
