TED Schools

In accordance with its founding purposes, the Turkish Education Association immediately started its academic activities in the 1930-1931 academic year with its kindergarten. In the 1931-1932 academic year, the primary school 1st grade was introduced at “Ankara Primary School” with the approval of the Ministry of Education. After TED Ankara College, several schools were opened around the country and the number of TED Schools nationwide increased rapidly.

Why Does TED Open Schools?
The Turkish Education Association believes that education is the most significant factor in the economic and social development of a country. In order to contribute to the educational development of Turkey, it opens schools for following purposes:

• To increase the level of education in the areas where TED schools are present,
• To provide education to the successful students in need.

The Turkish Education Association is a great and unique non-governmental organization with its schools, university, think tank, representatives, dormitories, business corporation, symphonic orchestrate, alumni associations and sports clubs.
What kind of individuals are raised at TED Schools?
Turkish Education Association Schools raise individuals with the following qualities:

The scholarship system of the Turkish Education Association differs from the scholarship practices nationwide by its scope. The scholarship system in practice has met all sorts of academic expenses of 48.000 students including their allowance until the end of their higher education.
