THE STUDENTS GAIN THE FOLLOWINGS AT 2nd FOREIGN LANGUAGE COURSES / GERMAN – FRENCH- SPANISH IN THE MIDDLE SCHOOL
Being aware of the advantages of being multi-lingual, the students are willing to learn a second language and continue their education.
They respect different languages and cultures and approach them with interest and tolerance.
They know the cultural characteristics of the country where the foreign language they learn is spoken.
Within the scope of their areas of interest and experiences, they understand the frequently used phrases, dialogues, and publications.
They become capable enough to communicate in social life.
They express themselves in daily spoken language.
They can express their experiences, observations, comments, and criticism in writing and verbally.

2nd FOREIGN LANGUAGE COURSES / GERMAN – FRENCH- SPANISH ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT IN THE MIDDLE SCHOOL
All the learning activities are related with real life.
The language is taught with its culture.
The vocabulary, grammar, listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills are not taught independently, but as a whole in student-centered and interactive environments.
The students are encouraged to join national and international competitions, projects and presentations to give them the opportunity to use their learning in different platforms.

MEASUREMENT AND ASSESSMENT FOR THE 2nd FOREIGN LANGUAGE COURSES / GERMAN – FRENCH- SPANISH IN THE MIDDLE SCHOOL
Each semester two/three written exams are given.
The class performance is grades according to the following criteria:
Students’ active participation in the class,
Bringing all the needed course materials,
Homework and keeping their notebooks well-organized,
Classroom behaviors,
Language progress.
If the students want, they can take the internationally recognized FIT, DELF and DELE exams to determine their language level and receive their certificate.
